Throughout this qualification you will ensure responsibility to reduce risks to health and safety, promote additional services or products to clients, develop and maintain your effectiveness at work, provide facial skincare treatment, enhance the appearance of eyebrows and lashes, carry out waxing services and provide pedicure and manicure services.

This qualification will provide you with the requisite knowledge, understanding and skills to work competently as a beauty therapist specialising in make-up.
Throughout this qualification you will ensure responsibility to reduce risks to health and safety, promote additional services or products to clients, develop and maintain your effectiveness at work, provide facial skin care treatments, enhance the appearance of eyebrows and lashes, provide make-up services and instruct clients in the use and application of skin care products and make-up.

VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques
The Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in; how to provide eyelash and brow treatments, removing hair using waxing techniques, applying make-up, manicure, pedicure and skincare.
To further enhance your practical skills you will have the opportunity to choose from the following practical units; the application of tanning techniques, instruction on make-up application, removing hair using alternatives to wax such as threading or sugaring, eyelash perming, ear piercing or the creative skill of nail art.
The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills in beauty therapy to a high level of occupational ability, to enable you to perform your own salon services.
